Balance Bikes 4 Kids Now Carrying Little Nutty Helmets

Balance Bikes 4 Kids recently introduced a new line of helmets to their online store that offers parents a safe and unique option to protect their child from injury while learning to ride a bike. The company has been helping parents to teach their child how to ride a bike the right way for more than a year now with their selection of balance bikes, so offering helmets was a logical product offering.

However, run-of-the-mill helmets available in department stores didn’t match the company’s philosophy of providing innovation over tradition. This led to the discovery of a truly distinctive brand of child safety helmets that allow a child to express their own individuality.

“Getting a child to wear their bike helmet can be a real challenge. Generally, kids treat wearing a helmet like a punishment. So anything you can do to get them to wear the helmet is a plus. Nutcase’s Little Nutty line of helmets are true originals that both kids and parents will appreciate,” explained Balance Bike 4 Kids owner Rob Mabry.

The Little Nutty helmets feature bold, artistic designs that range from the “Eight Ball” to the “Union Jack” to one that looks like a watermelon. They are whimsical and off-beat, but constructed for safety first.

“We think our customers will be really impressed with the unique designs. Parents who teach their little ones to ride a bike using a balance bike are already thinking outside the box. The Little Nutty helmets are an extension of that. They aren’t your everyday bike helmets,” Mabry explained.

Balance bikes are training bikes that allow kids ages 2-4 to learn to ride a bicycle. Unlike the traditional training wheel method, learning to ride a bike means focusing on balance first on a bike with no pedals, chains or sprockets. The bikes are small, very light and easy to maneuver and built with either a steel frame or they can be made of wood.

This method originated in Europe, but “early adopter” parents are beginning to embrace this very effective method for teaching kids to ride a bike. Balance Bikes 4 Kids carries a variety of balance bikes from Strider, Glide Bikes, KaZam, Hobby, Kinderbike, Smart Gear and Kiddimoto.

The introduction of the Little Nutty helmets from Nutcase was a logical extension of the quality balance bikes currently offered on Balance Bikes 4 Kids online store. Bike safety is a crucial element of teaching a child to ride a bike and wearing a helmet is lesson number one.

Balance Bikes 4 Kids believes the fun designs offered by Nutcase will inspire kids to enjoy wearing a helmet when they ride and ultimately reduce injuries.
